With the first of an entirely new generation of four-valves-per-cylinder 'Boxer' twins already on sale, BMW rounded off production of the old-style twin-cylinder range in 1995 with a trio of final edition Classic models. These were the R100RT Classic, the R100GS Classic and the R100R Classic. The latter featured the marque's traditional white-pinstriped black livery, wire wheels and a type of rocker cover last seen in the 1960s. But there was a lot more to it than mere old-fashioned styling cues, for the R100R represented just about the ultimate development of the traditional Boxer. Based on the R100GS, it used the latter's 40mm carburettors while incorporating Showa suspension, Brembo 4-pot brake calipers, floating brake discs and 17/18" wheels.

This R100R Classic is like new. With 2 owners since new, it has only 9960 km on the odometer. A rare find.
