XS650 Heritage Special
Yamaha's first foray into the four-stroke field was their XS650. Produced from 1968-85, it is one of Japan's longest-running and most beloved engines. A standard-style roadster for its first 10 model years, the XS reflected late-1970s styling trends and was transformed into the Special. At the time this styling trend was still gaining momentum, on its way to a full-blown movement that would be embraced by all bike-makers and eventually top U.S. sales charts for most of the 1990s and early 2000s.
Almost 40 years after its production this Heritage Special we offer is still original and like new.
